Last night was college football game of the century part 2 and believe it or not the combatants were the same teams that battled it out in part 1. There were two major differences this time, one being that a national championship was on the line and the second being the victor. For the second time in 3 years the Alabama Crimson Tide are BCS champs and kings of college football, much to the chagrin of LSU fans around the globe. Much like the first meeting between these two juggernauts this game was a defensive struggle but as the score indicates one defense clearly outclassed the other. It was a close game in the first half but after that it was all downhill for the Tigers. They were dominated in every facet of the game and had only one possession in which they were able to pass the 50 yard line, it was total domination. Some critics were dissapointed that Alabama was selected to play in this game because of their previous loss to LSU but the Crimson Tide certainly proved that they belonged last night. Roll Tide!
