Over the past several months NBA fans from around the world have gone from the depths of hell to highest highs of the heavens as the negotiations between the NBA players and team owners played out in the court of public opinion. When news of an agreement was announced I stuck my head out of my apartment window and shouted the word Yeeeeeeeees at the top of my lungs, along with damn near everyone in my building. The highly anticipated day of season opening games is weeks away but free agency begins tomorrow and from the looks of things it will be a hum dinger. Trade rumors are rampant and prospective teams and free agents are chomping at the bit to get business done. Will Chris Paul become a Laker? Tyson Chandler a Knick? Will Rajon Rondo be dealt? Who will Nene end up? So many possibilities, so much fun. Thank you NBA.
